Sonatype & Eclipse present Maven Meetup this week

There are still a few seats left for the Sonatype and Eclipse Meetup this Wednesday.  If you work with open source software, want to learn more about Maven and Eclipse technologies, or want to share your latest project this event is for you.

Event Information

The event will take place at The Bookshelf in downtown Guelph, Ontario on June 16, 2010 between 2PM and 8PM.

Between 2PM and 5PM, there will be presentations from Sonatype and IBM on their latest Eclipse projects in The Bookshelf Cinema, followed by an Eclipse DemoCamp between 6PM AND 8PM.  Members of Red Hat, RIM, IBM, and Sonatype will be showcasing their latest projects during the DemoCamp.

Sonatype's Weekend Round Up

There are a lot of exciting things happening at Sonatype these days.  This Thursday, we will be holding our first in a series of free webinars about Maven Studio for Eclipse.  This webinar will focus on MSE’s Developer Onboarding feature, and walk you through getting new developers productive within minutes.

And in just a few weeks Sonatype & Eclipse will be hosting a Maven Meetup and DemoCamp in Guelph, Canada.  There are still a few spots left if you would like to demo your latest project or technology.  This is a free event, but seating is limited, so register today.  Members of RIM, IBM, Sonatype, and Red Hat will be at the Meetup, presenting what industry-leading technology they’re working on right now.

There are also some exciting changes on the horizon at Sonatype.  Be sure to check back here often for updates!

Red Hat at the Maven Meetup in Guelph

Sonatype is excited to announce that members of Red Hat, a leader in open source development, will be presenting at our upcoming Maven Meetup.  Red Hat will join IBM, Research in Motion, and Sonatype developers in giving presentations and showcasing their latest project during our Eclipse DemoCamp.

The meetup will take place on Wednesday June 16, in Guelph Ontario.  The day will begin with presentations for world-class developers, covering topics such as Maven, m2eclipse, API Tooling, and p2.

Following dinner, we will be hosting an Eclipse DemoCamp, where members of the local tech community will take the stage and present their latest projects.

This is a free event, but seating is limited, so to reserve your spot in the audience or as a DemoCamp participant, register today.

IBM and RIM at Sonatype's Maven Meetup this June

On June 16 Sonatype is hosting a Maven Meetup and Eclipse DemoCamp in Guelph, Ontario, and members of IBM, Sonatype and RIM will be a part of the presentation and demo lineups.

Presentations will run throughout the day, followed by an Eclipse DemoCamp featuring members of the local tech community.  So far, the DemoCamp presentations will cover topics such as API Tooling, Eclipse Integration, Tycho, and e4-based applications.
