Our latest issue covers the Sonatype’s software development infrastructure survey results, the importance of training, and Sonatype training dates that we’ve added to our schedule.

Overwhelming Response to Sonatype’s Software Development Infrastructure Survey

We asked you for your opinions, and your response was overwhelming — nearly 1,600 developers, architects, and managers responded to our survey.

Here’s what you’ve said so far:

  • 33% of you have already widely adopted Apache Maven. Another 42% are using it and expect usage to increase.
  • Nearly 40% of of you report that ’not knowing when a build has broken or why’ is a significant problem for their organization.
  • More than 75% of your organizations have widely adopted an open source development infrastructure stack. 50% say it’s their corporate standard.
  • 62% of you are frustrated at the lack of integration within your software development infrastructure.
