Congratulations to the Sonatype 2022 Elevate Awards winners

Written by Sonatype | December 08, 2022

Sonatype’s Elevate Awards are an opportunity for organizations of all sizes to showcase their extraordinary work and successes in the software development life cycle (SDLC). The SDLC and its associated software supply chain are the driving force behind innovation across enterprises, nonprofits, and government agencies across the globe.

All of our finalists stood out from nearly two thousand organizations, consisting of hundreds of thousands of engineers, developers, architects, security professionals, and others.

But let’s get to the good stuff. We’re proud to announce the winners of the 2022 Elevate Awards.

OSS Health & Fitness Award

W. Edwards Deming taught us that sourcing components from fewer and better suppliers — and only using the best versions of those components — are key principles for building quality into a product. When it comes to the world of Open Source Software, the same rules apply. This award recognizes efforts to practice healthy OSS fitness by curating and reducing the total number of OSS component suppliers in use, while also using the best available component versions.
