At the 2018 DevOps Enterprise Summit, Mary Lee, Director Security Product and Program Management at Salesforce, talked about how she is rolling out the Nexus Platform across the enterprise at Salesforce. Mary explained how automating the open source component approval process for 800 jar files went from 25 days of manual evaluation down to 5 minutes of automation with the Nexus Platform.

“Instead of requiring people to manually fill out a request for the approval to use an open source component -- and taking 4 - 6 weeks to do this -- as soon as you put the component into Nexus Repository / Firewall, it will give an immediate answer.”

Watch Mary's full session below, and then read about the challenges she was facing before implementing Nexus Automation.
