Walmart Logistics is integrating Nexus, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and OneOps open source software components into its management system for 200 plus of its distribution centers in an effort to set up each center as its own cloud. The goal is for each application to function autonomously, just like the distribution centers themselves.

Sonatype's Nexus use was expanded and optimized to account for its Docker registry capabilities. Overall, this cohesive integration will benefit not only Walmart Logistics development teams, management, and end users, but Walmart customers as well because the system works to ensure that "Everyday Low Prices" are still met.
